Next Steps With Trinity
At Trinity Community Church we want you to be part of the church that Jesus has in mind for you. There are a lot of great churches of all sizes in the Antelope Valley. We know you need some time to really get a feel for any of them. To help you decide if Trinity is your new church home, we have some suggestions for you.
If you are interested in any of the events below, please email us. Also, if you would like regularly updated, ask to be added to our weekly E-News which includes more details like addresses and phone numbers.
At least once a month, right after the service, we have an informal luncheon we call "Meet Trinity." We’ll serve you a light lunch and provide childcare if you need it. This is an excellent time to meet the pastor and some of the people who serve here. You can learn how to get "plugged in" and to ask any questions you might have. Pastor Tim will introduce you to some of the ways God has used this church and where we believe He is leading us next. We'll announce our Meet Trinitys in advance so be watching!
Every Sunday at 9 AM we have Sunday School for adults, and a separate classes for high schoolers and young adults, as well as and Children's Church for grades 5 and below with nursery childcare. Classes cover a range of topics but they’re always interesting and relevant to life. These classes are much more interactive than the sermon so questions and discussions are encouraged.
Home groups are a great way to make friends. During the week, we meet together in homes for food, fellowship, and to learn from each other as we study Scripture and share life together.
Some of our home groups have lots of kids, others not so many. Some have a lot of musical talent, others not so much, but what all of our groups have is a desire to grow in Christ and live for Him in community. To get more information about our home groups, please talk to one of our hosts on Sunday morning.
We have two Bible studies on Tuesdays. One meets at the church facility at 9:30am and the other meets in the evening in a westside home at 6:30 pm. The morning women will nearly always find themselves in a local restaurant for lunch after the study! The evening study starts early enough to allow women to eat together and fellowship before the study begins.
Our Men's Fellowship meets on Wednesday nights at 6:45. We alternate between a few westside homes and various restaurants, like Camille's or Panera, where we can either have a cup of coffee or a meal along with our study. We pray, encourage, and study God's Word.
The Alpha course is an eleven-week introduction to Christianity. We begin each session with a meal, followed by a video presentation and discussion. This is a great opportunity to explore different aspects of the Christian faith.
Alpha is a place where you can ask questions, delve into different issues, find out what others think and perhaps make some new friends along the way! If you're interested in joining our next Alpha group, please email us for more information.
